Christina Santamaria

Christina Santamaria brings five years of experience as a Project Engineer to her role as Senior Associate. Her expertise includes HVAC system commissioning, asset inventory, and greenhouse gas accounting. Christina’s hands-on skills include drafting documentation, cataloging equipment, tracking gas usage, and maintaining project budgets. Throughout her career, Christina has learned to support clients and her team by testing that HVAC systems work according to design. In these previous roles, she ensured systems are installed accurately and occupants will be comfortable. Most recently, she assisted as a support engineer testing functionality of fan coil units, exhaust fans, water heaters, and lighting.

Prior to joining Cadeo, Christina was a Project Engineer with Veolia, Inc, where she supported 40+ LEED-Enhanced commissioning projects. During those projects, she learned to compare design drawings and review submittals. She also performed functional performance testing of HVAC, plumbing, and lighting systems onsite and finalized closeout documentation including M&V Plans. While developing these skills, she also catalogued existing equipment for maintenance contracts and tracked global electricity and gas use. Throughout these projects, Christina managed budgets, schedules, and invoicing.

Christina achieved her Engineer-In-Training license issued in 2023. She holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from San Francisco State University and multiple A.A. degrees from City College of San Francisco. Christina enjoys spending time with her husband serving their local church, exploring local Bay Area festivals and events, attending concerts of their favorite bands, and going to Disneyland. In Christina’s spare time, she loves singing, listening to music, watching movies and television shows, and trying all the best milk tea locations in the Bay Area.
